ČSOB statements in Moneytale

From ČSOB Moneytale reads the monthly PDF current-account statement — verified on a real statement down to the last row. The statement reaches Moja ČSOB within 3 days of month end and stays in the archive for about 19 months.

Steps

  1. In Moja ČSOB check under Nastavenie → Užívateľské → Výpisy z účtov that your statement is delivered as PDF (the other options are HTML, TXT and XML).
  2. Open Platby a výpisy → Výpisy and download the monthly statement.
  3. In Moneytale click Upload a statement and pick the file.

What to watch for

  • The SmartBanking mobile app has no statements — you need Moja ČSOB in a web browser, which works on a phone too.
  • Moneytale does not yet read the HTML, TXT or XML rendering of the statement — switch to PDF.
  • The ČSOB credit-card statement has no profile of its own yet. It can still be uploaded — the AI reads it, and only with your consent.

What happens after the upload

Moneytale reads the payments from the statement and categorizes them by itself. It never signs in to the bank, never sees your password, and the file can only be read. Payments it already has from an earlier statement are recognized and not written twice — overlapping statements are fine. When categorizing card payments the AI sees only the cleaned merchant name, never amounts, IBANs or names — and only if you agreed to it.
