Revolut statements in Moneytale
Revolut is the third bank Moneytale is tuned on — measured on real accounts. It reads both the CSV export and the PDF account statement you generate in the app.
What Moneytale reads from Revolut
-
Account statement · CSV
Revolut app → account → Statement → format CSV or Excel → period → generate.
-
Account statement · PDF
The same screen, format PDF.
Steps
- In the Revolut app open the account and tap Statement.
- Pick the format — CSV is the most precise, PDF works too — and the period.
- Save the generated file or share it straight away: Share → Moneytale works on iPhone and Android.
- In Moneytale click Upload a statement and pick the file.
What to watch for
- The CSV carries no IBAN, so the payments land on a “Revolut” account Moneytale creates.
- A PDF transaction list without totals (for example for a single card) is not accepted as a statement — download the Account statement.
What happens after the upload
Moneytale reads the payments from the statement and categorizes them by itself. It never signs in to the bank, never sees your password, and the file can only be read. Payments it already has from an earlier statement are recognized and not written twice — overlapping statements are fine. When categorizing card payments the AI sees only the cleaned merchant name, never amounts, IBANs or names — and only if you agreed to it.
Other banks
VÚB · Tatra banka · Slovenská sporiteľňa · ČSOB · Fio banka · Prima banka · 365.bank · mBank · UniCredit Bank
The steps match Revolut's banking as of October 2026. If the bank has renamed its menus, look for “Výpisy” (statements) or “Export”.
